Happy Wednesday! Hope your having a good week. Already middle of the month which means in just 15 more days our brand spanking new Annual Catalog will be going LIVE!! I know I already have a couple people who want me to order them a certain stamp set. I’m sure its going to be a HOT seller.

We of course are still working on using items that are saying goodbye. This item was in our Occasions catalog. I have loved seeing all the samples made with it, and I think it maybe one of the items I will “keep” instead of selling once the catalog is done.  To see what Susan created this week with one of her retired items, head over to her blog:  This week I cased a card from the Happy Stamper aka Amy K. I changed the sentiment that she used, it is from the same set. Check out her blog:

I {HEART} how this turned out!

Items used:

Stamp set(s): Oh so Succulent, All Things Thanks

Ink: Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron(retiring), Tip Top Taupe(retiring), Sweet Sugarplum

Well, it’s Wednesday again! How does that happen? Back on May 2nd as all of us demonstrators were finally able to place our pre-order for the new Annual Catalog, I too placed my order. It arrived here this Monday.  Yes I have opened up my box of new toys and have put them away.  I will start using them here shortly! 🙂

So of course we are still saying good bye to many of our beloved Stampin’ Up! supplies that are now retiring from our current catalog. You can see all the items retiring on my personal website:  Items are available while supply lasts. Many items are discounted as well. Want to see what item Susan is using this week? Head on over to her blog:   I cased my sample this week from Kathy Harrison a UK demo. Her blog is called the Stamping Shed and the post that I cased is from this post: I didnt use the washi tape that she used. I was not sure as to what one she used and the ones that I have would not have looked very good on my sample.

I LOVE how this card turned out!! Im going to miss Gorgeous Grunge, it sure is a nice stamp set for back ground work. Gives it lots of layers without “adding” more paper to the card.

Items used:

Stamp set: Gorgeous Grunge (retiring) Timelss Textures, Dragonfly Dreams

Ink: Early Espresso, Daffodill Delight, Tempting Turquosie

Cardstock: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White

Extras: Snail, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue,  Lace Doilies (one side is Very Vanilla the other is Whisper White)

So the retirement list is out, and as a Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrator, I placed my pre-order today. It has already shipped!! I cannot wait to play with these new toys!!

We are working on retirement list.  Let’s head over to Susan’s blog:  to see what she found in her stash that is retiring.  I have been in a bit of a rut, with the retirement list out and a few recent life issues. I seem to have lost my creativity 🙁  I needed to make some congratulations cards for my team members (been trying to make these for a couple of months. I know I’m bad)  and a couple of birthday cards. I cased this from  I have met Sandi on a couple of occassions at Stampin’ Up! Convention or Leadership. I used different sentiments for my cards.

Sorry my work space was a little busy today when I was working on these.

Items Used:

Stamp set: Flourishing Phrases (retiring) Balloon Celebration

Ink: Crumb Cake, Sweet Sugarplum

Cardstock: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Sweet Sugarplum

Hi Friends, hope you all had a Happy Easter on the weekend. Last week we decided to take the day off… well I was leaving for Vancouver to see some Dr.’s and Susan and I talked and decided that I didnt have enough time to make something to post before I left.

So did you hear? Stampin’ Up! has posted their RETIREMENT LIST!! You can head over to my personal website:  to see what has retired, what is currently available, and what is DEEPLY DISCOUNTED!!

So this week, and I think maybe the weeks leading up to the launch of the new Annual Catalog will be themed Retirement. Head over to see what stamp set Susan found in her stash that is saying good bye to us on May 31, I cased my card from Stampin’ on the Prairie, I unfortunaly have had a few losses in recent weeks, one of my favorite uncle’s passed away late last month, and while down in Vancouver we stopped in to see my auntie/uncle (you know those people in your lives that are amazing friends of your parents that you call auntie/uncle?) and found out that her mom (93) passed away about the same day as my uncle. What are the chances of that?

Items used:

Stamp set: Thoughtful Branches, Flourishing Phrases (Thoughtful Branches was suppose to be an item in the Annual catalog this year, however the powers that be decided that it wasn’t selling very well so it was pulled)

Cardstock: Whisper White and Thick Whisper White

Ink: Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wassabi

Extras: Linen Thread, Snail, Sponge, Snail. I also make a mask, I cut out a square using one of my square framelits and a piece of Whisper White cardstock (ran it through the Big Shot) and taped it down on my grid paper with washi tape.

Thanks for lookin’ and have a Stampin’ day!

I’m late again. I spent four days (including my two days off) with a migraine. Monday was the mother of all. I haven’t crafted since I made last weeks post either  😥  Trying to “pencil” in more creative time in my week.

Let’s head over to see Susan’s blog:  to see what she worked on this week.

I wanted to use my Oh so Succulent stamps again, however I was pressed for time so I was looking for something that I could do in like five-ten minutes and be done. I cased this card today from  I know that she stamped the images where I used my FREE SAB reward Succulent Garden DSP instead (have to find a way to use up more of my stuff!!) It’s not that I have a problem (cough cough) I’m sure most of you know what I’m talking about  😀

Items used:

Stamp set: Rose Wonder

Ink: Mint Macaroon

Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaroon, Succulent Garden DSP

Extras: Snail, Dimensionals

Thanks for lookin’ and have a Stampin’ day!

Hey everyone. So on Saturday and overnight Sunday we ended up with like 10 inches of snow. My joke was the St. Paddy’s day leprechaun was going to be dancing his jig in a foot of snow. Well unless we get somemore in the next two days — Or maybe Susan can send us some….  Anyways bad joke especially for Susan. They got a HUGE dump of snow yesterday and I dont think she was able to dig herself out.

So I know Susan spent some of yesterday crafting. I know I saw a picture of her making soap. Head over to her blog to see what she made using ink/stamps/paper. I was looking for a simple card for my home workshop on Sunday. I cased this cute Thank you card from Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog — Kimberly Van Diepen.

Well, not sure about where you live, but February came in like a lion, and is going out like a lion too! We are having a winter snow storm here today (tuesday) and its sub zero again. I have to say too, this happend last February too. My adopted brother (long story) anyways, he and his fiance got married on leap year. (is it leap year or leap day?) Anyways, it too snowed the day before they were to get married, and there was no end insight either for the snow!

On another note, on friday March 3 I’m going back to my old job. I have been pretty sick (stress sick) the past six weeks working my new job. I talked it over with my hubby and he said he would rather me be healthy and happy then to be sick and hate my job.

Moving on…..
